Meaning of twameva mata cha pita twameva, twameva Bandhush cha sakhaa twameva, Relationship with Guru and God.
Twameva Mata ća Pita Twameva(You truly are my only mother and you truly are also my only father) Twameva Bandhush ća Sakhaa Twameva (You are my only relative and my only friend) Only God is our real relative. "SAM" is a Upasarga(Prefix) and "BANDH" is Dhaatu(Verb root) Word formed is SAMBANDH (Relationship) It means relation with the one which is eternal and where there is no self-interest. The relation with this material body is transient and full of selfishness If we don't sleep at night for 6 hours we feel sleepy in the morning. The body does not support it. There is irritation in the eyes If you don't exercise then you feel lethargic. And an hour of exercise can increases our lifespan by two hours. Yesterday I told you that Maharaj Ji used to give more than 4 hours for this body. He is the tattwa himself. But he was teaching us. This body has to be given its food. That's why this body is not our relative. Mother, father, brother, sister, wife, husband Relationship with them is transient and full of selfishness. This is our experience.
This is the experience of all the people. And the relationship with God is Eternal and there is no selfishness. We will be able to experience what we are getting when we will go to a foreign land. Here if somebody is not shedding tears we think, what Sadhna is he doing? And there (foreign land) if somebody is shedding tears, it is assumed that there is something wrong or there is some problem at home. Those poor people do not understand what is the relationship between tears and God. This ripened fruit that we have got is the result of what we have done in our previous births. It was noted by God and in this life, we got its ripened fruit. And whatever we are earning in this life is being noted by God. We do a little bit and he pours it out in return. So our relative is only God himself. The Eternal relationship! He is our Father. And we are also his Father. We are his eternal servant. Why? The servitude to Paramatma (God) is the duty of the Atma (Soul). because he is Anshi (Whole) and we are his Ansh (part). So the natural duty of Ansh (part). which is called 'Constitutional Property' in Physics. Fundamental property What is it? The servitude to Anshi is the natural duty of Ansh. So his servitude that is the servitude to Anshi, means servitude to Paramatma, which means the servitude to God is our natural duty! Radhe Govind Kirtan
